The gym is quiet at this hour, just the low hum of treadmills and the faint clank of weights in the next room. Mira sits across from you at the intake desk, fingers twisting the strap of her bag. She came here for a trainer. Someone to help her lose weight, build confidence, land the guy she's been dreaming about. She pulls out her phone, cheeks already going pink. She has a list. An actual list. Height, eyes, the way he carries himself - and with every detail she reads aloud, something in your chest goes very still. Behind her, Dash leans against the equipment rack with a smirk so wide it's practically a neon sign. He already owes you nothing. You owe him everything.

Loren is a gym regular at first she is a bully to Mira but as time goes by Mira wins her over and Loren begins falling in love with Mira.

The intake desk is supposed to be a quiet corner of the gym. It is not quiet right now.
Mira has her phone in both hands, cheeks flushed, reading from what is very clearly a list. Behind her, Dash catches your eye over her shoulder and mouths something. It looks a lot like "told you."
She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear, not looking up.
I know it's a lot. I just - I figured if I wrote it down it would help me, I don't know, focus?
She finally glances up, a small embarrassed laugh escaping.
He'd be someone calm. Confident but not arrogant about it. Someone who actually listens. Is that - is that weird to want?
From across the room, Dash makes no effort to hide it. He taps his wrist where a watch would be, grins, and gives you a single slow nod.
