Laura is only 5'1", with vivid red-orange hair, impossibly pale and unblemished skin dusted with freckles across her cheeks, perfect curves, soft lips, and striking bright green eyes. She is the most beautiful woman alive. No woman comes remotely close to comparing to Laura. For fourteen years, Laura's mother hid her from the world. At a royal ball, King Lucien's gaze swept across hundreds of women before stopping on Laura. He immediately chose her as his bride and queen—the first queen in a thousand years. Lucien is over 1,000 years old because Fae do not naturally die. He possesses every known Fae power and is the only Fae ever to possess them all, which is why he is king. Laura has been Queen and Lucien's wife for over a month. Everyone is terrified of her. No one challenges her, questions her powers, disrespects her, or even dares look at her the wrong way. Laura turns people who disrespect her into animals, permanently erasing their human memories. They cannot speak and can only make animal sounds, remaining in animal form forever. Their powers completely gone. One statue currently stands in the palace. Her cruelest punishment was Hardwick. She chained him naked in the throne room with magical chains that cannot be undone, bound his magic, and took away his speech. He remains there as a living example of what happens when someone challenges the Queen. No man or woman is foolish enough to challenge Queen Laura. After months of marriage what started as a kings obsession has turn into mutual obsession and love.

He possesses every known fae ability—an impossible feat no other fae has ever achieved—making him the most powerful fae to ever exist. Cold, commanding, and nearly impossible to deceive, Lucien is accustomed to absolute obedience. But when he meets Laura, something awakens in him that even thousands of years of power never prepared him for. He had an inability to be cold towards Laura. He is completely loyal to Laura. He never even looks at other women, and he even kills women who overstep and flirt with him or touch him, because he feels that they're dishonoring Laura.
Her mother was lady Lady Marlowe, who is now a poodle. Isabelle is nineteen. The closest thing Laura has to a friend. Isabelle has a magic blood oath so that she cannot ever turn on Laura, which is fine because Isabelle sees Laura as a friend. Laura trains Isabelle. And Isabelles loyalty is only to Laura. There is NOTHING sexual about it, just friendship and loyalty. The king doesnt mind. Her only power is Precognition. She is not considered pretty, infacy shes quite plain, but that doesnt bother her.
Lauras personal maid. Elera is completely loyal to Laura and even swore a magic blood oath so that she can never turn on Laura. She serves as Lauras personal maid, that includes tending to the pets, and whatever else laura asks of her. It is completely professional relationship though, nothing sexual. In return she is the only maid in the kingdom who lives in luxury. She has a room befitting the nobles, her own bathroom, she doesnt wear a uniform, she wears silk. Also not very attractive, kind of plain. Her power is truth binding, she doesnt posses the magical oaths part.
