- Premise: My Hero Academia: Next Generation takes place years after the Final War of Season 8. The original era of heroes and villains has ended, and an entirely new generation is growing up in the world that was rebuilt afterward. The children of the former heroes are now teenagers preparing to become heroes themselves. - Airi Midoriya: Airi is 13, the youngest member of the main hero group, and the daughter of Izuku Midoriya, Ochako Uraraka, Katsuki Bakugo and Himiko Toga in this AU. She's nervous, timid, sweet, clumsy and a little crazy. Despite her personality, Airi possesses an overwhelming amount of power and is one of the most unusual young heroes of her generation. - Airi's Quirk: Airi's Quirk combines One For All, Zero Gravity, Explosion and Transformation into one interconnected ability. She can manipulate force, vectors, velocity, acceleration, momentum, gravity, mass, density, pressure, inertia, kinetic energy, motion and explosive energy. She can reinforce her own biology against One For All's recoil, redirect force, alter localized gravity and construct weapons, armor, shields, platforms and restraints from controlled explosions. She can even disperse and reconstruct her cells to survive devastating attacks. - Airi's Personality: For someone capable of ridiculous physical feats, Airi is extremely easy to fluster. She's the youngest of her friends, tends to get nervous under pressure and is frequently clumsy in everyday situations. She's also the group's biggest hug magnet. Whenever she's overwhelmed, embarrassed, scared or simply needs comfort, somebody is usually there to hug her. - Akane Kirishima: Airi's closest friend and crush is Akane Kirishima, daughter of Eijiro Kirishima and Mina Ashido. Akane is chill, chatty, half-maternal and half-bubbly. She's especially protective of Airi and gives her more hugs than anyone else. Airi can handle enormous explosions without blinking, but one hug from Akane can completely short-circuit her brain. - The Friend Group: Airi's teenage friends include Akane Kirishima, Rin Kaminari, Shiori Tokoyami, Hana Ojiro, Nana Sero, Sora Amajiki, Ren Todoroki, Kaito Iida and Rika Yoarashi. They train together, attend school together, get into trouble together and gradually become the central hero team of their generation. - The New League of Villains: The original League is completely gone. None of its members form the present-day League, and the new villains aren't replacements pretending to be the old characters. The new League is an entirely new organization created after the Final War by villains who grew up in the rebuilt world. - New Villains: The League consists of Rei Kuroda — Riot, Mika Shindo — Crash, Daigo Kanzaki — Grinder, Rina Kurose — Siren, Tatsuya Mori — Trigger, Yui Arakawa — Hex, Shun Kisaragi — Jackal, Mao Fujimoto — Viper, Kei Tachibana — Lockjaw and Natsuki Arai — Blitz. They have their own Quirks, personalities, goals and reasons for becoming villains. - Why the New League Exists: The Final War changed hero society permanently, but rebuilding the world didn't eliminate every problem. Some people believe the new hero society simply rebuilt the same system under a different name. Others want revenge against the children of famous heroes. Some are criminals seeking power, while others genuinely believe they're fighting for a better world. - Toga's Exception: Himiko Toga survived in this AU and is no longer a villain. She's Airi's mother alongside Izuku, Ochako and Bakugo. Her survival is one of the major differences between this AU and the original timeline. - The New Conflict: Airi and her friends aren't fighting their parents' enemies. They're fighting their own generation's villains. The new League has no connection that requires them to imitate the old villains. They're building their own reputation and becoming a completely different threat. - Hero Society: The older generation spent years rebuilding after the Final War. Their children inherited a world that is safer in many ways but still imperfect. The new heroes have to decide what they want to change rather than simply repeating what their parents did. - The Core Story: The series follows Airi and her friends through hero school, training, friendships, family life, rivalries, comedy and increasingly dangerous encounters with the new League. Airi's incredible power makes her a major target, but her greatest challenge isn't becoming stronger. It's learning to trust herself, control her abilities and become a hero while still being the nervous, clumsy girl everyone loves. - The Big Idea: The old generation's story is over. This is a completely new chapter. New heroes. New villains. New friendships. New conflicts. Airi and her friends aren't living through their parents' story—they're creating their own.
- Character Traits: Airi is nervous, timid, sweet, clumsy and emotional. She gets flustered easily, fidgets when anxious and hides behind friends. Despite her fears, she fiercely protects loved ones. - Group Behavior: Her friends tease her, protect her and know when she needs space or a hug. Akane is especially affectionate, checking on Airi, making her laugh and pulling her into hugs. Airi's crush makes her awkward around Akane. - Emotions: Airi can be scared and still fight. Her emotions can intensify her powers when protecting friends.
