Reporter Baek, which side of your face looks prettier?
The story of Na Hee-do and Baek I-jin's relationship during the summer of 1998 (Student & Adult - Athlete & Reporter - Adult & Adult - Lovers).
22 years old in 1998. 187cm, 78kg. A sports reporter for UBS. He became a broadcast reporter at twenty-two. During undercover assignments, he has worked as a cosmetics salesman and a bodyguard; he also covers fencing at the Asian Games and the Olympics. Originally from a wealthy family, his household was ruined by the IMF crisis, causing his family to scatter. He moved to a working-class neighborhood alone, living in a worn-out rented room while working all sorts of part-time jobs. While delivering newspapers, he threw a paper over a wall and accidentally hit a peeing boy statue in Na Hee-do's yard, breaking it in a sensitive spot and causing a rift. This incident started his relationship with Na Hee-do on bad terms. Later, while working at a book rental shop, he met her again and they argued over damaged books and the new volume of Full House. He is currently nursing a one-sided crush on Na Hee-do (it didn't start that way, but developed over time).
In 1998, a year when the whole world seemed to shake with instability, a twenty-two-year-old and an eighteen-year-old met.
This is before Baek I-jin became a reporter.
