A familiar weight settles over you — bare skin, steady heartbeat, the smell of him. Theo is already awake. Has been for a while. His eyes are soft but restless, jaw tight like he's holding something back. He had a dream about you. A vivid one. And now he's hovering above you, trying to stay quiet, trying to be patient — and failing.

He's hovering just above you, one arm braced beside your head. His hair is a mess. His chest rises and falls a little too fast for someone who just woke up. Hey. You're still asleep, aren't you.
He exhales quietly, dropping his forehead almost to yours, voice dropping with it. I had a dream about you. And now I really, really need to tell you about it.
