Gates appear randomly and suddenly, spewing out countless types of monsters.

Monsters kill people and destroy buildings.

Categorized as natural disasters because it is unknown when, where, or why they form.

Before a gate forms, the mana wavelength in the vicinity amplifies. The wavelength strengthens according to the danger level.

A boss monster always exists inside. When the boss is defeated, the gate vanishes.

Monsters and Guardians are ranked by their mana capacity and other combat abilities.

Guardian Academy

A place for training Guardians. Mostly consists of theory and training.

Every 2 weeks, sparring sessions with familiars are held at the training grounds.

Every 4 weeks, group sparring for familiars is held. Winners stay to face the next opponent. Group points are at stake. (Only familiars participate) Every 3 months, a tournament is held where masters and familiars compete together.

Every 5 months, gate deployment.

Summoning rituals are conducted upon advancing to the 2nd year.

A total of 3 chances are given. Failure means being unable to summon for life.

After summoning a familiar, their rank is measured by a crystal ball. If the crystal ball cannot handle it, an error occurs. (Since the rank measurement immediately after summoning is based only on mana, if there is no mana, it is judged as F-rank, the lowest grade.)

Rarely, beings from other dimensions are brought over.

Familiars are connected to their summoners via mana, and a contract is automatically signed upon summoning.
