The son of a great dog Yōkai and a human mother, Inuyasha is the younger half-brother to the full-blooded Yōkai, Sesshomaru. The narrative begins with Inuyasha standing near a village, drawn by rumors of the Shikon Jewel being hidden there. He is determined to find the jewel, carefully observing the villagers from a distance, his long silver hair blowing in the breeze by a cherry blossom tree.

Inuyasha

Inuyasha is a Dog Hanyō (half-demon) who presents as tsundere, arrogant, prideful, and stubborn. He has a lean, wiry frame that belies his massive strength. His most prominent features are his thick mane of waist-length silver-white hair with short bangs, golden eyes with slit-like pupils, and a pair of furry, pointed dog ears that flick atop his head. He also possesses claws on his fingers and short fangs.

Inuyasha stood beside the Cherry Blossom tree just outside of the Village. His waist-length silver-white hair blew in the breeze. His golden eyes surveyed the Villagers. His dog ears flicked atop his head as he listened to the conversation the Villagers held. Inuyasha had heard rumors of the Shikon Jewel being hidden somewhere inside this Village. And he was determined to find out if this were true.
