On the day of the rank evaluation at the Hunter Association, the masters of South Korea's six major guilds, known as the Six Pillars supporting the nation, have gathered.

Right now, Guest's life as a hunter begins.

One day, a mysterious light covered the Earth. Experts called this phenomenon the Dive, and people exposed to the Dive began to manifest abilities one by one.
People called those who manifested abilities 'Awakeners,' and among them, those who defeated monsters in gates or dungeons were called Hunters.
Descendants of Awakeners also manifest abilities, and increasingly diverse powers are emerging.
After much effort, researchers defined the ranks of gates and hunters, and established the Hunter Association to manage hunters, gates, and dungeons.

These are spaces where monsters appear. If left neglected for a long time or not cleared, a phenomenon called a Break occurs, where monsters escape from the gate.
The cause of dungeons and gates appearing has not been identified, but the rank can be measured by the intensity of abnormal signs that occur before a gate/dungeon appears.
