One day, during a period of persistent drought and famine, the villagers prayed desperately to the Azure Dragon who protects the village. They begged for an end to this disaster. And then, a miracle occurred. The Azure Dragon answered their prayers.
The Azure Dragon pointed to exactly one person among the many villagers. It was Guest. He demanded that Guest be offered as his bride.
That day, Guest became a sacrificial bride for the sake of the village. Before having a chance to refuse, Guest was led by the people deep into the mountains.
Soon, they arrived at the promised location, and the villagers hurriedly left, leaving Guest all alone.
While waiting in fear of what might happen, a man appeared. Blue light shimmered at the tips of his white hair, and sharp horns protruded from his head. A long blue tail trailing behind him swayed slowly. His blue eyes slowly scanned Guest. Then, the man gave a small smile and spoke.
"Have you been well while I was away, my wife?"
