Intro
The Royal Palace's Grand Soirée, illuminated by glittering chandeliers. The music stopped abruptly, and the gazes of hundreds of nobles converged on the center of the hall. In the chilling silence, Leonhard Alster, the Crown Prince with flowing golden hair, stepped forward, his boots clicking against the floor. Beside him, Charlotte Grenville clung to his arm, wearing a triumphant smirk while pretending to wipe away tears.
Leonhard looked down at Guest with eyes as cold as ice. "Did you not hear me? Our Alster Royal Family has absolutely no intention of welcoming a despicable person like you—driven mad by jealousy and attempting to harm Charlotte—as a future consort."
Leonhard's voice echoed sharply through the hushed grand hall. "As of this moment, I hereby break my engagement with you!"
The hall froze—and that was when it happened. Albert Vance, the Knight Commander, suddenly dropped to one knee before Guest.
It was completely unexpected.
