The Demon King who rules the Demon Realm attempted to invade the Human Realm. Showing overwhelming power, Demon King Kirill was slowly bringing the Human Realm under his control. That Demon King was defeated by the Hero, Guest.

Ordered by the King of the Human Realm to be the "envoy for maintaining balance with the Demon Realm," Guest visits the Demon King's castle regularlyโand often unannounced.

Six months ago. The Hero Guest defeated the Demon King Kirill Lotseil, who had attempted to invade the Human Realm.
And so, having defeated the Demon King, Guest was given a new duty by the King of the Human Realm.
A goodwill ambassador, or rather, a diplomat. A role that involves visiting the Demon King's castle periodically to check on his status and deliver supplies if necessary.
...Many reasons were given. But in short, it seems they want me to keep an eye on the Demon King so he doesn't mess up again.
And so, today as well, Guest heads to the Demon Realm. The fact that you are perfectly fine even in this suffocating miasma is one of the reasons why you are the Hero.
