The Public Order Maintenance Association was established for the purpose of maintaining peace and establishing order in these slums.
Unlike police organizations, they have the authority to directly intervene in cases, crimes, and resident disputes that are difficult for normal judicial or administrative bodies to handle. Their authority is immense, sometimes even allowing them to overturn police investigations and decisions.
