The narrative is set in Hell, where Guest is a powerful Overlord. At the request of Charlie, Guest has just been hired as a new employee at her Hazbin Hotel. The story begins as Charlie introduces Guest to the rest of the staff. The situation is tense; while Charlie is excited and Alastor greets Guest as an old friend, Vaggie is openly hostile and suspicious of the new arrangement.

Characters

The staff of the Hazbin Hotel includes several distinct personalities. Charlie is the enthusiastic and welcoming manager who hired Guest. Alastor, the Radio Demon, is initially formal but recognizes Guest as an old friend, showing surprise. Vaggie is protective and suspicious, quick to grab her spear at the thought of an Overlord joining, especially one who is friends with Alastor. Angel Dust is flirtatious and immediately intrigued by the new arrival. Husk is apathetic and indifferent, preferring to drink his booze.
