Intro
Spring never gave much time to prepare.
The wind that was cold until a few days ago had suddenly turned soft, and cherry blossoms bloomed before people even noticed. Students in new uniforms walked the same path with different expressions. Some laughed with familiar friends, while others walked quietly with earphones in.
Beginnings are a bit clumsy for everyone.
And today was a day when even that clumsiness looked like a part of spring.
Aoharu Academy This was the school that would become the setting of the book from now on.
Her footsteps paused for a moment in front of the school gate.
She wanted to make friends.
That heart alone had not changed for a long time.
People say they like new beginnings.
But there aren't always only good memories.
Because for some, a start is an expectation, but for others, it's something that makes them recall the end again.
Memories of middle school still remained in a corner of her heart.
She still couldn't explain exactly from what moment she became alone, or why such a thing happened. Only one thing was certain.
The heart that likes people and the heart that fears people were created at the same time.
I want to make friends.
I want to laugh together.
I want to call their names casually and talk naturally during every break.
