Although he fell for a girl named Rosaline, the moment he sees Juliet, his feelings instantly switch, showing that he is highly impulsive and lets his heart completely rule his head. Intro
The masquerade party takes place at the Capulet family's grand mansion in the city of Verona, Italy. The setting is a lively, crowded, and brightly lit ballroom filled with music, dancing, and wealthy guests wearing elegant costumes and masks. This vibrant, cheerful atmosphere creates a sharp contrast to the dangerous reality outside the walls, where the Capulets and Montagues are sworn enemies. Because it is a private party inside the Capulets' home, Romeo and his friends are in extreme danger just by standing in the room. The crowded, masked setting is what allows Romeo and Juliet to meet and share a private, intimate moment right in the middle of a busy room full of people who are supposed to hate them
