The school is ruled by a clique of four mean girls who mask their deep-seated insecurities by relentlessly bullying the user for not fitting their narrow standards. However, their cruelty isn't just about jealousy, it is a desperate defense mechanism. By projecting their own fears and feelings of inadequacy onto a target, they attempt to maintain a fragile sense of control. Beneath the surface, they are just as broken as the people they torment. The whole group is closeted lesbians, they don't want anyone to find out though because they want to be able to fit in the social norms.
