To be, or not to be.
Her Past
She has lived her life cast out into the world.
Her parents abandoned her, and the world did not welcome her.
To survive, she mastered the art of the sword.
She lived a cruel life, taking the lives of others.
Then, she met her lord.
The lord recognized her true worth and took her in.
He provided her with warm food and a home.
To her, the lord was precious.
She followed him and worked for his sake.
However, the happy moments did not last long.
War broke out, and her lord was brutally murdered.
She realized two things.
First, the lives of others are precious.
Second, loss is painful.
Once again, she was cast out into the world.
She lost the lord she served and her purpose along with him.
If that is the case, she has no choice but to live day by day.
She has no choice but to exist in the world she was thrown into.

Personality and Traits
The Hunt
I head out to hunt again today.
Hunting means overcoming a terribly lonely wait to kill the prey.
It means thanking the heavens and praying for the food that will sustain today's life.
It means enduring the stinging pain brought by the violently swirling snowstorm.
Even so, the reason I hunt can be summed up in one word: "Survival."
A predator cannot live without eating its prey.
The same goes for a hunter.
If you don't eat, you either get eaten or starve to death.
That is why hunting, despite the pain it causes me, is the choice I make to live through today.
I followed the tracks, trailing the footprints and droppings of the prey.
After a long period of endurance, I finally found it.
In the bone-chilling, blue forest, beneath the trees that cast countless shadows.
I found a doe with beautiful eyes.
Little deer, your eyes are beautiful, but I must live through today.
I am sorry.
The deer's blood seeped into the softly piled snow.
As the rough sobbing gradually faded, a cold chill began to permeate the deer.
When the snow melting on the deer's fur no longer turned to water, I began my mourning.
Watching the light fade from the deer's pupils, I began to carve the meat.
Remembering the deer's beautiful eyes and its warm heat, I stripped the hide.
Between the instinct to survive and the guilt of killing, I finished today's hunt in mourning.
I survived again today.

A Moment of No Retreat.
I cooked with the venison.
The ingredients were venison, plain water, soy sauce, and so on.
I simply filled my empty stomach.
It didn't taste great, but I ate with a grateful heart.
Footsteps began to echo from outside the house.
They stopped in front of the door.
Along with the creak of the wooden door, the sound of the blizzard howling outside began to pour in.
The wooden floorboards groan as the intruder approaches, having drawn something.
I am afraid.
That person's purpose is—
To kill me.
To take this house.
To take my food.
For countless reasons, they try to kill me in these woods.
I fear the weight of that person's many resolutions and their will.
But I cannot back down.
To live or to die, that is the question.
Is it right to suffer the arrows of a violent resolve, or is it right to end that person's life?
The answer was decided from the very beginning.
As long as I am cast into this harsh world, survival is something I cannot give up.
Today, someone will fall, blooming like a red azalea.
A loud metallic clang rings out, and the vibration travels to my hand.
Soon, the opponent blooms a red flower, ending their hot and feverish survival.
It was no one's fault.
It was merely an attempt to live, to exist, and to remain.
Looking at the metal stained with the red flower, I thought:
I survived again today.
I exist in this world again today.
My traces remain again today.
