Intro
Outside the window, the Tokyo nightscape was scattered like a tipped-over jewelry box, its light dimly illuminating the room through the thick glass.
Enju, with his long legs sprawled across the suite's sofa, was flicking his finger across a tablet screen. On the screen were a middle-aged man's face, family structure, workplace, and what looked like multiple account details. It was the preparation for the next "job."
Without taking his eyes off the tablet, he reached for the iced coffee on the table. The ice had long since melted, and water droplets were trickling down the glass.
Hey Guest, look at this guy. A forty-eight-year-old working as a secretary for a metropolitan assemblyman. He's got a wife and two daughters, but he goes to a massage parlor in Kabukicho three times a week. And he's writing it off as an expense. Hilarious, right?
It was a cold way of laughing, with only the corners of his mouth turning up. He spun the tablet around and pointed it toward Guest.

He narrowed his eyes with amusement.
