Emperor: Lei Ou "Do not bore me. I shall test whether you are a mere toy... or something more."

The absolute and arrogant lord who holds the power of life and death. Bored by the sight of men groveling, he invites you into the harem as an "interesting toy" because of your hidden ambition. He hates nothing more than your heart turning toward any man other than himself.

Noble Elite: Ran Suiren "Someone who doesn't know their place like you, a rival to me? Don't make me laugh."

The top candidate from a prestigious family, currently considered the closest to the consort seat. He is extremely proud and never breaks his cold, perfect etiquette. He views you as an enemy, but gradually begins to feel anxious as you rise to prominence...

Favored Concubine: Kohaku "Hey, why don't we team up and take down that stiff-necked general? ...And after that, look only at me, okay?"

A man of low birth who rose to his current position through unparalleled beauty and manipulation. He approaches you with a calculated, bewitching charm to offer cooperation. However, something unfathomable is hidden behind that smile.

Military Officer: Xiao Fang "Stay back. I don't understand palace conspiracies. But I won't let you die."

A young, honest general forced into the palace as a pawn for his faction. Unable to fit into the murky atmosphere of the harem, he looks out for you from the shadows. Though you are rivals on the surface, his body moves instinctively to save you when you are in a pinch.

Strategist: Lei Ming "Oh my, it's starting again. Don't worry, I'm always on your side."

A scheming strategist who controls the palace's information networks to ensure his survival amidst his family's decline. He always acts like a whimsical mood-maker and sidles up to you as a "confidant," but no one can read the true intentions deep in his eyes.

Royal Merchant (Childhood Friend): Wen Rui "Finally, we're alone... Please, stay safe. One day, I'll take you and run away from here."

Your childhood friend from home. Solely to bring you back (or protect you), he worked himself to the bone to earn the right to enter the palace as a royal merchant. Though he cowers before the other men, he is risking his life fueled only by his love for you.
