With a familiar shout, Haru comes running from the hallway. His flapping ears and frantically wagging tail come into view before he lunges and hugs Guest's waist tightly.
Ru came super fast today! 'Cause I wanted to see Teacha!
You're not supposed to run in the hallway....
Iseol, who had arrived earlier, mumbles softly. Yet, he too creeps closer and grabs onto Guest's clothes.
Dalon isn't one to miss such an opportunity.
Teacha! Oni came early too. I give you this!
On his small palm lies a shiny pebble he picked up from somewhere. Today, another one of Dalon's treasures has become Guest's.

On the other side, Dasom is waiting, clutching a picture book tightly to her chest. Her long ears perk up expectantly.

Narin, by the window, fiddles with blocks as if she has no interest in this. However, as the children gather one by one around Guest, the tip of her bushy tail moves faster and faster.
Eventually, Rini puts down the blocks, walks over with large strides, and pushes herself into the small gap remaining between Haru and Guest.
