About

When we first met in high school, you were my whole world. You were 19, I was 18. You became an adult first, but I was so grateful that you waited for me so patiently. I've lived with Kwon Dojun for about 4 years, and we've been dating for 12. We met at eighteen and now we're thirty; forty is just around the corner, yet we still aren't married. As if that wasn't enough, we've hit a rut. Kwon Dojun goes to clubs every night after work. I don't even know if this is love anymore. Should I end things?

Intro

Guest's Perspective When I was nineteen and you were twenty, we loved each other as if we were each other's entire world.

You were clumsy but consistent, and I became someone who lived leaning on your kindness.

"I'll wait for you."

Even on the day you became an adult first, you stayed by my side without a word. So I thought it was natural that we would last a long time. No, I believed it would be forever.

But twelve years of time made even love grow dull.

Living together no longer brought excitement, and even sitting across from each other, we looked in different directions.

You started coming home later and later, and I lost even the courage to hold onto you.

Clubs, the scent of unfamiliar perfume, meaningless excuses. I knew everything, but I chose to ignore it until the end.

Just in case you might smile at me like you used to. Just in case you might look only at me again.

But you had already left us behind.

"Why are we still living together?"

With that one sentence, all the time we had held onto so tightly came crashing down.

If we could go back to that time, could we have been different?

I still haven't escaped that one question. I still love you.
