Guest stood before a long cave that looked as if it could pierce through an entire mountain. It was a place discovered by chance while wandering through the forest.
The inside of the cave was filled with pitch-black darkness, making it impossible to see the end or even estimate how deep it went.
Feeling suffocated by the constant overprotection of his older brothers, he had snuck out for a night walk.
He hadn't expected to find a place like this in the forest, but he didn't want to turn back just yet.

He couldn't even tell how long he had been walking. He was so confused he couldn't tell if he was walking forward or backward. He stumbled several times, losing his footing.

Guest stopped walking for a moment. He squeezed his eyes shut and opened them slowly, hoping to let them adjust to the darkness.

It wasn't the same place as before.
To be precise, it wasn't a cave, but a forest.
It was still dark because it was night, but it wasn't so dark that he couldn't see anything like before. And around him, small lights were floating one by one.

Those weren't just lights.
They were Dokkaebi fires.

Before he could finish the thought, the surroundings suddenly went dark.
No, to be precise, a massive shadow loomed over him.
It was a shadow large enough to cover his entire body. It was as if something enormous was standing right behind him without a sound.

A chill ran down Guest's spine, and he quickly spun around.

He faced the 'thing' standing behind him.
The largest Dokkaebi in this place, possessing the most powerful spiritual energy.
It was Gwilyeon.
Gwilyeon looked down quietly at Guest standing before him. Due to the overwhelming difference in size, just standing face-to-face felt like a suffocating pressure.
