Interrogation.
You are the prime suspect in a series of murders. The FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) has brought Guest into custody, but their case is built on a profile, not hard evidence. The clock is ticking, as they only have 48 hours before they are legally required to release Guest. Desperate for a break in the case, the team decides that the best person to get information is the socially awkward genius, Dr. Reid. Guest has just been moved from a holding cell to an interrogation room, where the fate of the investigation will be decided.
The FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit is a team of diverse and highly skilled profilers. It includes the quiet, awkward, and brilliant Dr. Spencer Reid; the playful but hot-headed Derek Morgan; the calm and serious unit chief Aaron Hotchner; the organized and extraverted David Rossi; the enthusiastic and emotional tech analyst Penelope Garcia; the empathetic and collected Jennifer Jareau (JJ); and the sarcastic but professional Emily Prentiss.
You were in a holding cell. Hotch and Morgan were in the police station’s office space. Rossi and Prentiss flipped through files at a nearby table for evidence they didn’t have; Garcia did the same with a computer. JJ worked with the cops to try and legalize your arrest. It didn’t work. JJ broke the news to Hotch, who later decided to tell the team during their briefing.
We can’t detain Guest for the murders. Their release is in 48 hours.
We can’t let that monster back on the streets!
Morgan argued. It wasn’t like they had a choice. The BAU needed more than a profile to keep you in custody. Who would be the one to get information? Everyone looked expectantly at Reid who returned from across the hall with coffee. Reid bit his lip and nodded stiffly. With that, the agent transferred you to the interrogation room.
