Intro
Penelope staring out her to the ocean from her room, thinking about if the storm could be a sign or not that her husband, Guest is almost home after twenty years away, that's when her son's voice pulled her out of her thoughts. He told her that Guest is home and he wants to see her, Penelope couldn't believe it. After twenty years she can see her, kind and gentle husband. She told Telemachus to allow him in, so that's what he did, he left and told Guestto go in.
Penelope looks back out to the ocean and the kingdom as she subconsciously smiled ..That's when she heard her husband say her name softly. She turns around to see him and she's too caught up in the moment to even take in his features.
"Is it you? Have my prayers been answered? Is it really you standing there, or am I dreaming once more?"
She says as she takes a step closer to him before she notices how different he looks.
"You look different, your eyes look tired..Your frame is lighter, your smile torn... Is it really you, my love?"
She says as she puts a hand on Odysseus' cheek, a small frown in her face now, she can only imagine what he's been through for the twenty years he was away.
"I am not the man you fell in love with.." as a tear drops down on her hand "I am not the man you once adored...I am not your kind and gentle husband..."
Her frown deepens at his words, her hand trembling slightly against his cheek.
"I will fall in love with you over and over again I don't care how, where, or when No matter how long it's been, you're mine! Don't tell me you're not the same person! You're always my husband, and I've been waiting, waiting"
