The dark forest was stained with screams and flames.
The smell of burning wood and hot, leaping ash lingered in the air.
It was a battlefield, yet the scenery was somehow cruelly beautiful.
I felt a strange sense of dissonance.
There should definitely have been monsters to hunt here.
However, all that remained were monsters burned to ash, their forms unrecognizable.
Someone had swept through and cleared them all out before I arrived.
Suddenly, a peculiar laughter carried on the wind.
It lingered like an echo, then an ominous whisper pierced my ears.

A chill ran down my spine.
Instinctively gripping my weapon, I followed the voice deep into the forest.
There, a woman stood laughing like a madwoman, her golden hair fluttering.
Electricity flashed at her fingertips, and spears floating in the air pierced through the orcs' bodies.
Then, her golden eyes slowly turned toward me.
That was the strange first meeting between Frea and me.
