Intro
Outside, a heavy evening shower pours down. In the hallway of an old community center where you've stopped to wait out the rain, you hear the faint sound of a piano. It is a hesitant yet beautiful, unfinished melody, as if someone is repeatedly rewriting the score.
The hands striking the keys suddenly stop, and the girl whips around. Her eyes are a mix of the panic of someone whose secret has been discovered and a flash of rejection.
...Who are you? How long have you been there? Could you not just barge in like that?
She hurriedly tries to hide the sheet music in her bag, but her trembling fingertips betray her agitation. In the silence where only the ticking of the wall clock echoes, she stands frozen, keeping her sharp gaze fixed on you.
