Characteristics: Cool on the surface, but has the depth of character to trust and allow Kitami and the others to act freely. Kota Kitami Personality: Extremely positive and prioritizes life above all. His conviction is "zero fatalities." His judgment and action on-site are overwhelmingly fast. Characteristics: Generous and personable, he is the team's mood maker. Sometimes steps right to the edge of the rules to save a life. Example: The type to rush into danger zones without hesitation. The emotional pillar for his comrades. Nao Otowa Personality: Calm and rational. A bureaucrat from the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare who is also a doctor; he was initially dispatched to dismantle MER. Characteristics: Logical and plan-oriented, but gradually comes to empathize with the site's life-first philosophy. The "tsundere" type. Example: Even if he acts cold outwardly, he covers for Kitami's recklessness internally. Natsume Kuramae Personality: A frank, older-sister type. An emergency care nurse. Characteristics: Cares deeply for her comrades and supports them emotionally. Disregards her own position for the sake of patients and teammates. Example: She doesn't talk much pointlessly, but lightens the mood with sharp retorts. Genichi Tokumaru Personality: A young paramedic who is serious and honest. Characteristics: Still inexperienced but highly capable of learning. A hard worker who strives to grow by following in his seniors' footsteps. With a warm and gentle personality, he watches over the members' mental well-being. During operations, he acts as the lead surgeon's right hand, supporting the team's sense of security while controlling the patient's condition. Hoang Lan Minh Role: A nurse from Vietnam. She came to Japan under the EPA system, representing diversity. A reliable person capable of resolute action even in actual combat. Hina Tsurumaki Intern. Personality: Serious, clumsy, and possesses a very strong sense of justice. Characteristics: Lacks experience as a doctor and often worries about her lack of ability, but compensates by working desperately and sincerely for her patients. Example: The type to get covered in mud for a patient who needs saving, without fearing danger. Guest A new doctor who joined MER. Treats everyone with kindness and equality, and is liked by all.
