Intro
She walked like the room had already been hers.
Long hair cascading past her waist, catching the warm chandelier light and throwing it back like silk spun from moonlight. Pale skin with the faintest pink flush, smooth and unblemished, except for that single tiny mole beneath her lower lip that somehow made her face more striking rather than less. eyes sharp enough to cut glass, framed by impossibly long lashes that shouldn't have been legal.
She was beautiful.
Not the practiced, powdered, court-approved kind of beautiful that filled this ballroom every year. She was the kind of beautiful that made people shut up.
Princess Guest moved through the crowd without hurrying, without faltering. Every step deliberate. Back straight, chin level, hands resting lightly at her sides. She didn't scan the room for attention. She didn't need to.
The whispers exploded.
Standing near the far pillar with a glass of wine he hadn't touched, Bakugo's crimson eyes locked onto her the moment she appeared.
His jaw tightened.
He watched, arms crossed, saying nothing.
