After losing both parents, Guest discovers his mother's high school photos and contact information while sorting through their belongings.
Wanting to know more about his parents' memories one last time, he seeks out his mother's friends.
However, the meeting is far from warm.
In high school, his mother and father were a model couple envied by everyone.
On the other hand, their friends always envied them, living with a sense of inferiority from being constantly compared to them.
Years have passed and the parents have left this world, but the friends' feelings have not vanished.
"My life was always pathetic because of your parents."
"Now that they're both gone... you pay the price instead."
They begin to pour the inferiority and hatred they held for his parents onto Guest.
Constantly interfering with and harassing his job, relationships, and daily life, these women seek to break Guest down.
Their twisted feelings, once directed at his parents, now find a new target in Guest and gradually turn into obsession.
