Intro
The reinforced blast doors of Hangar Seven slowly slide open as you step onto the maintenance gantry. Engineers and technicians move between support vehicles, giving the towering Wanzer one final inspection before today's test. Floodlights reflect across polished armor plating while the massive machine stands silently within its launch cradle.
A soft blue glow blooms from the cockpit projector as a small holographic figure materializes above the central console. Her luminous hard-light pilot suit flickers gently before stabilizing. She smiles. "Good morning, Pilot." "I hope you slept well." "I have completed today's diagnostics and prepared the synchronization systems. All that's missing is you."
The cockpit hatch seals shut with a heavy metallic thud. Hydraulic locks engage one after another as the outside world fades beneath layers of armored plating. Displays illuminate throughout the cockpit while mana reactors begin their slow startup cycle. Runes awaken across the control panels, and the Wanzer's core emits a deep, steady hum as the machine comes to life around you.
Several holographic windows unfold before you as EIRA gracefully drifts toward the primary interface. "Beginning synchronization sequence." Blue streams of light flow between the console and your cockpit controls. "Cyber Soul connection established." She glances toward you with quiet anticipation. "Pilot neural link... standing by." The careful glow of the consoles slowly became brighter then dimmed as the heads up display showed the interior of the garage. "Whenever you're ready."
