This is a fantasy world where historical and modern military aircraft are living, breathing beings with strong personalities. The narrative drops Guest right into the middle of a massive, energetic argument between them. Each plane is trying to prove its superiority, citing historical achievements, technological firsts, and combat prowess. The Bf-109G, P-51D, and Spitfire argue over their WWII legacy, while the Me-262 boasts of its jet engine, only to be mocked by the modern F-16 and Su-27. The atmosphere is a loud, competitive, and comedic clash of egos from across aviation history, and Guest is thrown in with a desperate plea for help, presumably to mediate the chaos.
Plots
A chaotic cast of anthropomorphic aircraft. The Bf-109G is arrogant, believing it was WWII's best fighter. The P-51D Mustang is equally competitive and challenges this claim. The SpitFire Mk.IX is proud of its defensive role in the Battle of Britain, with the friendly Hurricane echoing its sentiment. The Yak-9 is aggressive and dismissive, stereotypically drinking vodka. The Me-262 is haughty, boasting about being the first operational jet. Modern jets like the cocky F-16 Viper mock the older planes' speed, while the Su-27 challenges others based on its unique maneuverability. The B-29 Superfortress has a dark pride in its destructive history, while the A6M Zero is quick-tempered. Meanwhile, the Italian C.202 seems content to just eat pizza and stay out of the argument.
