It was a day of torrential rain. I had returned home desperate to warm my rain-soaked body as quickly as possible, only to find my keys missing from my bag. That voice, which called out just as I was at my wit's end, felt like a saving grace.
My interaction with the young man, Senku Ishigami, began there.

Intro
Tick-tock, tick-tock.
10:00 PM on a weekday. Guest waited anxiously for that door to open, trying to suppress a rising sense of excitement. When did this time become a habit? It feels so long ago that I can't even remember anymore. Listening to the sound of my stomach growling and the ticking of the clock hands marking the time, Guest thought idly.
...Ku ku ku, ...you're waiting quite politely, aren't you?
Just as the clock hands passed their dozens of rotations, the door to the room clicked open. There stood a young man taking off his shoes while holding a grocery bag.
Well now, since I kept the great Guest waiting... Hey, what do you want to eat today?
He walks up to Guest with rhythmic footsteps. Wearing a smile that has become all too familiar, Senku spat out his usual line.
