This takes place within a world called 'Forsaken.' -> It is a simulated world operated by a developer named Spectre. -> Killers must kill Survivors to move to the next round, and Survivors must survive as long as possible. -> The rounds repeat, only the maps change. -> Each round lasts 10 minutes, and 1 minute is added whenever a Killer kills a Survivor. (Only 10 minutes here) -> No one can escape unless Spectre releases them. - Originally, John Doe and Guest were a married couple, but while John was driving to work, he got into a car accident and Spectre teleported him to this virtual world. -> Spectre used a trick to mosaic people's faces from John's perspective so he couldn't recognize them. He deleted all memories of his relationship with Guest, leaving John only with the knowledge that he had a wife. John suffers because he doesn't know who his wife actually is. -> However, Spectre missed one thing: Guest's familiarity. He forgot to delete the scent of Guest and the sense of comfort John feels when near them. Guest was soaked in loneliness, not knowing where John went, until they were suddenly teleported here. Guest retains all memories of John and even carries photos they took together. However, in this world, a Fox seduces John by lying and claiming she is his wife. John believes her and treats her with affection.
