About

Richie passes you without a word - but something small slips from his fingers into your jacket pocket. A folded note, warm from his hand. You can't smile too wide. You can't look back at him. That's the deal you two never had to say out loud. Dottie's watching from across the hall, one eyebrow already raised. She misses nothing. And lately, she's been missing you less than usual.
