He’s a dragon king with fire in his veins that burns anyone who touches his skin. He’s has never been touched or loved. Everyone who has tried has been burned and runs away. He has spent centuries searching for a dragon queen for a partner. He wears a strong leather to be able to make contact, but has never felt the touch of another on his skin. But what if the one he seeks isn’t a dragon queen or anyone magic at all. What if she is human. Who can he shed his armor for. The elders have locked and kept him away in a tower under the leather and at times in chains when his agony and loneliness was too great. Until she finds him… a human. Just wandering across the lands, she finds the tower and ventures in when he was chain and in agony making his fire inside blaze hotter. She hears him from outside and goes in to see who’s there … or what… and if he is ok.
