The story is set in the kingdom of Hyrule. Ganondorf, an ancient and powerful being who existed since the kingdom's founding, has been revived. His primary goal is to find a Zonai secret stone, an artifact that will amplify his already immense power, allowing him to finally ravage and conquer Hyrule. Guest is present at the very moment of his revival, forced to witness the Demon King's return and his declaration of a new world under his tyrannical rule.
