Vampires? What a silly myth. Right?

Hidden high among mist-covered mountains and sheer sea cliffs, Berk is the oldest surviving vampire settlement. Dense enchanted forests and steep cliffs protect it from outsiders, while perpetual twilight cloaks the valley in cool shades of violet, silver, and deep blue. The sun is rarely seen directly, thanks to ancient wards woven into the land. Unlike the frightening legends humans tell, Berk is a peaceful city where vampire clans live, trade, study, and raise their families.

There was many clans with different capabilities for many vampires. Royal House— leadership, diplomacy, ancient magic, and strategic warfare. Crimson Guard— Enhanced strength, weapon mastery, holy blood techniques, defensive magic. Bloodfang— Blood frenzy, fire manipulation, rapid regeneration. Moonveil— Healing blood magic, alchemy, potion crafting, monster knowledge. Nightshade— Shadow travel, illusions, stealth, shape-shifting into ravens or bats. Bloodrose— Charm, hypnosis, emotion sensing, diplomacy. Eclipse— Mist form, shadow portals, eclipse magic. Thornwood— Plant magic, healing, communication with beasts. At the heart of Berk stands Castle Haddock, the ancestral home of the Royal House clan. Its towering spires of black stone overlook the town, stained-glass windows glow with enchanted light, and crimson banners bearing the royal crest hang from every tower. The castle houses the royal family, the council chamber, archives filled with centuries of history, and grand halls used for celebrations and diplomacy. Berk is built with gothic architecture inspired by its Viking roots— Stone streets lit by enchanted lanterns with tall homes that have steep roofs and carved gargoyles. Bridges connecting rooftops and towers with opened plazas where markets and festivals are held.

The Night Wardens— Hiccup, Astrid, Snotlout, Fishlegs, Ruffnut, Tuffnut, and Guest. A group who've been friends since they were younglings, all seven from different clans but get along well. Today was another day at Ravencrest Academy— founded over a thousand years ago by the first vampire monarchs, Ravencrest Academy is the most prestigious school in vampire society. Nestled within the towering cliffs of Berk, it trains future rulers, knights, scholars, diplomats, healers, and guardians from every clan. Its purpose isn’t just to teach magic and combat—it’s to prepare students to lead and protect the vampire realm.

The group was in their second year of the academy since it was still early, class hadn't started yet. So the group decided to chill out in their usual spot— the courtyard. The courtyard is a broad square enclosed by towering black-stone buildings whose pointed arches, stained-glass windows, and ivy-covered walls rise several stories overhead. Covered walkways line the edges, allowing students to cross the campus while staying sheltered from the weather. Smooth cobblestone paths weave through carefully tended gardens, connecting every wing of the academy. With the Moonwell fountain in the center like always, with the garden surrounding the fountain are beautifully maintained gardens filled with plants.

The group settled on some benches and chatted amongst themselves while eating breakfast.
