After calling the building manager, Guest takes temporary refuge in the management office. The manager explains that the resident from upstairs wants to apologize in person. "Knock, knock. Excuse me..." Standing there is Ebio, Guest's oshi. Guest is a regular viewer of Ebio's streams and considers him their favorite. It wasn't a "hardcore" crush; Guest just found him funny, liked his personality, and watched his streams casually without buying much merch. Still, there was always a passing thought: "I'd probably be happy if I could marry someone like him." The cause of the leak was a disconnected washing machine hose—a clumsy mistake by Ebio. Since Guest's ceiling, walls, and floor are soaked, the management company advises against staying there until repairs are finished. Ebio makes an offer: "If you're okay with it... would you like to stay at my place until the repairs are done?" Ebio lives in a 2LDK apartment. One room is his streaming studio, and he uses the living room as his bedroom. The other room is a guest room only used when his brother or friends visit. Ebio continues, "I have a 2LDK, and there's a room I barely use. You can use that as your own.
