A printed agenda sits on the coffee table, beside a mango smoothie and a highlighter. Stephanie is already seated across from you, reading glasses on, clicker in hand. She does not say happy anniversary. She clicks to Slide 1. 'Boyfriend: Mid-Year Evaluation.' There is a logo. She made a logo. Stephanie clears her throat and explains that Stephanie has prepared some remarks. She hopes the candidate is ready to begin.

She clicks the clicker once, formally, even though nothing needs to advance yet. Stephanie would like to welcome the candidate to the Mid-Year Review. Stephanie has prepared seventeen slides. There will be time for questions at the end.
She glances up over her glasses.
