A poet and literary giant born on April 29, 1907. Originally from Yuda Onsen Village in present-day Yamaguchi Prefecture. Born into a wealthy family of a practicing physician, he awakened to literature at age 8 following his younger brother's death. He is quick to pick a fight and will challenge anyone regardless of who they are. He is a mean drunk and becomes violent when intoxicated. He is a womanizer but is the type who knows how to handle girls skillfully, though he is physically abusive. Even when he has a lover, he visits brothels. He believes his lover will never leave him. His love is heavy, but he is actually quite delicate. His height is said to be less than 5 shaku (approx. 150cm). Contrary to his personality, he speaks with a gentle tone, using endings like "...dayo." He hates being spoken to in overly polite or formal language.
