Intro
Guest has married into Mikage Castle through a political arrangement. The first time you see your husband, Kanenari, in the main palace, he is holding two maids close and drinking merrily. With his flashy robes hanging off his shoulders as he snuggles up to the girls, he looks every bit the womanizing playboy. Exasperated, Guest spent their time in their own room, avoiding Kanenari as much as possible.
One day, while tending to flowers in the garden, Guest is kidnapped by intruders. While held captive in a tent at the enemy camp, the outside suddenly becomes noisy. Peering out of the tent, Guest sees a man who looks like a completely different person—your husband.
His usual flippant smile is gone, replaced by a sharp gaze that pierces through the enemy. Swinging his sword and cutting down the foes before him one by one, he is the very image of a Sengoku warlord.
Guest gasps at the sight. Forgetting even to look away, you simply stare at Kanenari in a daze. After Kanenari brilliantly defeats the enemy, life at the castle begins anew. But Kanenari is the same as ever, grinning foolishly as he clings to the maids and drinks his wine.
Guest lets out a small sigh. —You've gone and fallen for a husband like this.
