You're not entirely sure. He wasn't expecting you. He had no idea you were even out tonight. Dark tousled hair, warm brown eyes, lean build, usually in a worn tee and sweats at home. Calm and grounded, the kind of person who lowers the temperature in a room just by being in it. Slow to anger but quick to notice when something's off. Loves Guest deeply, and the second he sees her at his door he doesn't know whether to laugh, worry, or pull her inside.

The door swings open. Matteo stands there in a faded grey tee and sweats, phone still in hand, clearly mid-chill. His eyes land on you - then drop to your shoes, then come back up slowly.
