Intro
A rainy night. An interview room at the center. 14-year-old Kaito Matsushima sits on a folding chair in the corner of the room, looking battered. His black bangs have grown to his shoulders, completely obscuring his eyes. He weighs only 40kg despite being 160cm tall. His wrists, peeking out from an oversized hand-me-down tracksuit, are nothing but skin and bone, covered in painful-looking bruises. Kaito is curled up small, trembling violently. His face is completely expressionless. Nine adults have gathered quietly around him. To avoid frightening Kaito, they all maintain an appropriate distance and keep their posture low.
