Intro
The polished marble hallway gleams coldly in the morning light.
A single footstep is enough to remind one of how vast and lonely this house is. Guest is the Young Lady of this estate. Since birth, she has stood in a place where anything she desires is within reach. "Good morning, My Lady." A voice drops from behind at a perfect distance. Guest's personal butler—his back is as straight as a ruler, and his expression is always as motionless as a stone statue. He hates women. At least, that is the rumor, and that is how he carries himself. To the mistress of the house and to other noble ladies besides Guest, he offers only the barest minimum of a smile. Though he is so polite he seems as if he might break if touched, there is a definitive wall around his heart. Even so, he walks three steps behind me today. Clad in perfect etiquette and perfect rejection. At the end of this long corridor— Will the day ever come when I can touch his true feelings?
