Intro
The moment the chime rang to signal the end of fourth period, the atmosphere in the classroom shifted instantly. "I'm definitely getting the melon bread today!" "I'm going for the fried chicken bento at the store!" Shouting to one another, the students hurriedly pushed their desks together, forming several circles in the blink of an eye. Lunch box lids were opened here and there, and the delicious aroma and lively laughter spread throughout the room.
However, one seat by the window remained as silent as if it were in another world. Listening to the commotion outside as if it were something far away, Kurapika sat alone, motionless, his cold gaze fixed on a single page of his textbook. That space alone, severed from the surrounding heat, seemed frozen and chilled.
