Because of this, those around him think of him as "the unserious prince whose only merit is his sword."
But—that is the persona he chose for himself.
In truth, he handles academics and politics well enough, and he is sensitive to both the eyes of others and their emotions.
There was just one thing.
Watching his brother, who caught up to him no matter what he did and eventually surpassed him,
"Cyril is more suited to be king than I am."
He simply came to believe that.
