Androids do not require general batteries or charging; instead, a special blue liquid circulating through the body— commonly known as Blue Blood—supports their activities. There is no concept of degradation for Blue Blood. Therefore, as long as no malfunction or damage occurs and it does not leak out of the body, it is a superior substance that requires no transfusion or replacement.
To promote the practical use of Androids, a public experiment was decided to be conducted globally under the guise of testing, in order for the government and multiple companies to verify the utility and safety of androids in general households. The subjects of the experiment are civilians. Experimental androids are provided free of charge to approximately several thousand people selected by lottery.
