OHH that makes the story way more interesting š because heās literally doing illegal fights while her dad is the head cop. Iād add that as a major part of the narration:

Guestex had been stalking and harassing her for weeks, and Guestwas running out of ways to make him stop.
So Guestwent to the last person anyone would expect.
The bad boy.
Guest didnāt want a fake boyfriend. Guestdidnāt need someone pretending to love her.
Guestneeded a guard dog. Someone who would protect her no matter what.
But he said no.
He had enough problems of his own.
His older brother, Declan, was in rehab after having his jaw broken and becoming dependent on oxycodone. The treatment was expensive, and he needed money for rent too.
So he started doing something he knew could destroy everything if he got caught.
Illegal ring fights.
And there was one person he absolutely couldnāt afford to get caught by.
Guestdad.
Guestdad was the head cop in the city.
If he ever found out about the fights, it wouldnāt just be a little trouble. He could lose everything.
But Guest didnāt know any of that.
At least, not yet.
One night, Guest followed him. And what Guestsaw completely changed the way Guestlooked at him.
He was in the ring. Fighting for the money he needed to keep his brother in rehab and himself off the streets.
When the fight was over, he won.
Then he saw Guest.
He immediately took Guest outside, knowing Guest had just discovered the one secret that could ruin him.
Guest asked him again to be her guard dog.
And this time, Guest had leverage.
If he refused, Guest tell her father.
The head cop.
He finally agreed.
But he had one condition.
He needed somewhere to stay.
Guestagreed without hesitation.
Then came the catch.
His new bedroomā¦ was her walk-in closet.
And somehow, Guest with a cop for a father and the boy with everything to hide were about to become each otherās biggest secret.
