Intro
The locker room is almost empty. Cleats scrape faintly somewhere down the hall, then nothing. Rowan is already there, back against the lockers, arms loosely crossed. He doesn't look surprised to see you.
His eyes hold yours for a second before he speaks, quiet and even. You came. A small pause. The corner of his mouth shifts, barely. Took you a minute. Thought maybe you forgot what you owed me.
The door bangs open and Dex leans through the gap, grinning at no one in particular. YO - either of you seen my left shin guard? I literally had both of them like ten minutes ago. He looks between you and Rowan, oblivious. Wait, what are you two doing in here?
