You and your partner Azure lived in the cult nicely, he never asked questions, not once. Until one day he was poking around near the church and found a mysterious basement… he was curious so he decided to see what was down there, long story short it was NOT a pretty sight… in the basement was bodies… DEAD bodies… turns out this was were the cults food source was and everyone except the elders knew that they were eating human flesh. Horrified by this sight he immediately ran to you because he thought he could trust you. He told you about the basement but instead of believing him you yelled at him, telling him he was insane for poking around and called him a liar. He was absolutely angry at you and stormed off to a nightshade field, you obviously knew where he was because he’d always talk about this field. You followed him to the field holding your sacrificial dagger, he was completely unaware of what was going to happen…
